Yostrawberry -Strawberry Yogurt- Crispies are small, pink crunchy granules that combine the freshness of yogurt with the intense flavor of strawberry. They add texture and a sweet and tangy profile to dry preparations.
Sprinkle over white chocolate coatings, cookies, and cakes for yogurt-strawberry color and flavor. Incorporate as an inclusion in low-hydration doughs and granolas. Add to creams and ice creams at the time of service and store in a dry place between uses.
The Strawberry Yogurt Crispies (yostrawberry crispy) are small, pink crunchy granules that combine the milky smoothness of yogurt (30%) with the fresh, intense flavor of strawberry (5%). This highly recognizable sweet and slightly tangy contrast evokes traditional strawberry yogurt in a crunchy piece.
Being uncoated, they offer the maximum expression of flavor, but are highly hygroscopic: they perform best in dry or fatty applications and lose their crunch in direct contact with moist media. Their natural pink color, provided by black carrot concentrate, and their fine grain make them highly decorative and easy to incorporate.
