The world of gastronomy was celebrating and at Sosa Ingredients we lived an unforgettable experience!

As official sponsors of the qualification rounds of the Pastry World Cup, we had the privilege of closely supporting the talented teams that competed in the grand finale on January 24 and 25, 2025 in Lyon, France. This event, an essential part of the prestigious SIRHA Lyon, was a true meeting point for innovation and excellence in global pastry.

We are not only proud to have supported the participating teams, but also to have shared the enthusiasm for this landmark event on the international gastronomic calendar.

SIRHA was not just a trade show; it became the epicenter of trends and inspiration for industry professionals, and our presence there gave us an unparalleled opportunity to connect with chefs, pastry chefs and food lovers.

During the event, we welcomed numerous distributors and visitors to our VIP area, Stand 6H168, where each day we offered an exclusive tasting menu designed by our chefs, as well as a program of animations and inspiring presentations.

Our exciting program included presentations by our brand ambassadors and friends:

  • Jordi Bordas, who shared his knowledge on how to reduce sugars and fats without compromising taste and texture, as well as exploring the role of fibers in patisserie.
  • Martin Lippo, who took us through the fascinating world of texturisers and foams, showing their evolution and permanence in modern gastronomy.
  • Toni Rodríguez, vegan pastry expert, who gave an inspiring talk on how this trend is an opportunity to enhance flavour without sacrificing quality.

We also marked an important milestone by becoming, for the first time, an official sponsor of the Bocuse d’Or final, held on 26-27 January 2025 within the framework of SIRHA Lyon.

During the show, most of the teams relied on our texturisers, reflecting their importance in modern gastronomy. It was a privilege to have lived this experience live, seeing first-hand the evolution of high cuisine.
