Sosa Ingredients, official partner of the national round for the “French Selection Bocuse d’Or 2027”

At Sosa Ingredients, part of the Valrhona Selection group, we proudly celebrate our first participation as Official Partner of the national round event that announced the new French Selection of the Bocuse d’Or 2025, a milestone that reinforces our commitment to haute cuisine and the chefs who drive culinary creativity every day.

The Bocuse d’Or is not just a gastronomic competition: it is a universal symbol of excellence, passion and transmission of culinary knowledge. Created more than 35 years ago by the legendary Paul Bocuse, this competition—organized within the framework of Sirha Lyon—brings together the best chefs in the world to test their technique, innovation and vision of contemporary cuisine. With a system of national pre-selections and continental finals in Europe, America, Asia-Pacific and Africa, it culminates every two years in the Grand World Final of the Bocuse d’Or, the most prestigious event in the sector.

This year 2025, after having been sponsors in the grand final of the Bocuse d’Or 2025 held in Lyon, we wanted to be present from the beginning of the process, accompanying the event that selects French chefs on their path to excellence. For this reason, we joined for the first time as official partner of the event that announced the France Selection 2025, held on October 21 in Paris, a day that will be marked in the history of French gastronomy.

During 4 hours and 15 minutes of intense competition, six chefs demonstrated their talent and creativity by preparing two dishes focused on rockfish and Paris mushrooms, under the honorary presidency of Christopher Coutanceau.

Maxence Baruffaldi Wins the Bocuse d’Or France 2025 and Will Represent France at the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2026.

Finally, the winner was Maxence Baruffaldi, executive chef of the Campus de Groisy, who will represent France at the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2026, which will be held for the first time in Marseille during Sirha Méditerranée.
