Sosa Ingredients’ headquarters in Navarcles are located in Colònia Galobard, a former textile colony nestled in nature on the banks of the Llobregat River. Today, this colony, integrated into its natural surroundings, is a valuable historical landmark. Our facility features an innovative solar energy system, where the factory roof is covered with solar panels that convert sunlight into clean, sustainable energy.
Our plant and quality policy
Our production plant in Navarcles is built on the foundation of innovation and excellence. Production is organized into completely separate rooms, each with its own distinct allergens, and equipped with state-of-the-art production systems.

Sosa: a family business
Sosa begins its activity, as a family business, producing traditional Catalan Christmas cookies and sweets by hand.
Sosa Artisan Commercial
“Comercial Artesana Sosa” is created and the production and distribution of ingredients for the ice cream shop begins.
Production of texturizers
Ferran Adrià, from his time at El Bulli, disrupted the vision of gastronomy and demanded new solutions. Sosa Ingredients, in collaboration with culinary professionals, is incorporating the production of texturizers and new ingredients into its operations.
Sorting and processing plant
Sosa acquires an almond sorting and processing plant in La Granadella.
New production plant
A new production plant is now operational, located in a 12-hectare complex in Navarcles (Barcelona).
Integration with the Savencia Group
Full integration with the Savencia Group has been achieved. Sosa Ingredients is now part of a collective of brands committed to the gastronomy of the future.
