FLAXFIBER Recipe Book: Versatility in Haute Cuisine

Since its launch more than two years ago, Flaxfiber, the revolutionary dietary fiber developed in collaboration with the renowned world pastry champion Jordi Bordas, has transformed the way chefs approach structure and nutritional balance in their creations. This innovative product debuted alongside the “Fiber Manual in Pastry”, a dossier detailing how to use fibers in haute pastry to achieve optimal textures and results without compromising flavor.

During 2024, Flaxfiber reached a new milestone by being tested within the kitchens of Disfrutar, the best restaurant in the world. Under the direction of the celebrated chefs Mateu Casañas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch, the Disfrutar team explored the creative possibilities offered by Flaxfiber, demonstrating its ability to enhance preparations without altering the sensory experience. This marks a precedent in the use of fibers in the world’s most innovative kitchens.

The more Savory Version of FLAXFIBER

Today, we are excited to present a new recipe book that brings together an exclusive selection of recipes created by our own Sosa chefs, who have harnessed the potential of Flaxfiber in their developments.

This dossier includes a series of savory recipes inspired by global cuisine, focusing on highly versatile sauces and creams. From a creamy Thai-inspired vichyssoise, where the fibers contribute to a smooth and light texture, to a gazpacho with a more structured body without losing its characteristic freshness, Flaxfiber is key to achieving perfection in every preparation.
